Archery School - Howard Hill Style Swing Draw Shooting

Archery coach Peter O. Stecher trains to shoot the American Longbow, following Howard Hill’s swing draw method. It’s a natural, fluid and effective style to shot a longbow – easy and fast to learn. The swing draw method was used, and still is in use by most archery stunt marksman and show shots, like Byron Ferguson, Ted Kramer, John Schulz and many more skilled archery representants. A 50 # Howard Hill Archery “LegendStick” by Craig T. Ekin, and a 62# “Sunset Hill” longbow by Nate Steen, a “LegendStick” back quiver, and “LegendStick” cedar arrows were used in clip.
